About ETRI
Welcome Address

Greetings! We sincerely welcome you to the Korea-EU
Semiconductor R&D Cooperation Center.
Semiconductors form the backbone of modern technology, enabling advancements in computing, communications, and next-generation electronics. Breakthroughs in semiconductor research not only push technical boundaries but also play a pivotal role in shaping national and global competitiveness. To sustain this progress, it is essential to cultivate a robust research ecosystem where scientists and engineers can explore fundamental challenges and pioneer new frontiers.
The National Semiconductor Research Policy Center (SRPC) is dedicated to supporting Korea’s semiconductor research community through evidence-based policy planning, strategic technology planning, and facilitating research collaboration. We conduct in-depth analysis of technological trends and R&D outcomes, foster interdisciplinary cooperation, and provide policy makers and researchers with the insights necessary to accelerate innovation.
Moving forward, our center remains committed to strengthening Korea’s semiconductor research ecosystem.
